You leave Dijon, place Darcy by Fontaine-les-Dijon and Ahuy. A bicycle lane will secure your departure until Messigny-et-Vantoux.Then, you will snake in the beautiful Suzon valley and you will go up until its source using a nice small shaded road.
After few kilometres on the plateau, you have to make a break on the rocks site before going down to admire the beautiful landscape from the top of Baulme-la-Roche's cliffs.
In this village, you will notice the fountain-drinking trough dated from the beginning of the XIX century and the cave of the rock hole.
Then, comes the village of Mâlain and its fortified castle restored since 1985 by volunteers and its Gallo-Roman site of Mediolanum.
After Lantenay, you will go down by the forest of Plombières to reach the canal of Burgundy and its green lane which goes along it until Dijon.
You willl discover the Kir lake whose name comes from the mayor deputy canon of Dijon from 1945 to 1968. This dam on the Ouche river of 37 ha with 3000m2 of very will equipped beach during the summer with bathing and swimming teachers is very appreciated and will probabaly retain your attention.
